Fraser Island is situated in Queensland, Australia and is the second most easterly point of the continent. Fraser Island is World Heritage listed and stretches over 120km and covers an area of 162 900 ha.

Fraser Island is truly the most unique natural environment and is the only place on the planet where rainforest grows from the sand.

Dramatic coloured-sand cliffs, natural sand blows, and rocky headlands to see as you drive by 4WD motor vehicle. There are not many places you can drive on the beach, but this is the largest sand Island in the world, and is one such place where you can 4WD on the beach.

There are many attractions of natural beauty on Fraser Island, to name a few Wanggoolba Creek, Lake Wabby and its enormous sand blow, pristine Lake McKenzie, Eli Creek and the wreck of the "Maheno". The rainforests of giant brush box, satinay or the kauri forests are teaming with native wild life, and the dingoes are said to be Australia's purest breed.

With its' rainforests to walk through and wonder at, freshwater crystal clear lakes to swim in and white beaches to play on and fish from, Fraser Island makes for the perfect holiday.
