Fraser Island Taxi Service


The Fraser Island Taxi Service has been operating since September 1985 founded by Nigel and Maureen Freemantle.

The Fraser Island Taxi can pick up from anywhere on the Island and take to any destination on Fraser Island or in Queensland.

Booking of the Taxi is important, as there is only one 'cab' on Fraser Island.

Popular pick up areas and destination points -

Barge landing at Hook Point (bottom end of Fraser)

Barge landing at Wanggoolba Creek (western side of Fraser)

Barge landing at Kingfisher Bay (western side of Fraser)

All of the resorts, townships, lakes, creeks, rainforests, air strips

Anywhere on the beach, or in camping areas

Price is quoted on application, pending on pick up and destination. The white 4WD Toyota Landcruiser station wagon taxi will carry 5 passengers and has a luggage barrier, as well as roof racks, (to carry the fishing rods).

Our clients mainly consist of -
